What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
